This collection focuses on the Sisters of Saint Francis, Oldenburg, and their historical impact on what is now Marian University in Indianapolis. It seeks to make objects related to Marian University’s Catholic roots easily accessible and available for alumni, faculty and staff, current students, and community members interested in local history. The collection provides information about the Franciscan order that was instrumental in shaping the university today in order to give a backdrop for its current state and future plans. 

The collection includes postcards, photographs, brochures, and even an audio interview with one of the Sisters.
