The Crawford County Public Library, located in English, Indiana, was established in June, 1954.  The library was originally located on Main Street in the old town of English.  Due to a series of floods, the entire town moved to higher ground in the 1990s.  The new library, located at 203 Indiana Ave., was opened in 1995.  In 2013, an addition was built onto the library. This addition included a new children's room and multipurpose meeting space.
